Frequently Asked Questions

What items do you accept for consignment?

Coins and currency, sports cards and memorabilia, jewelry, militaria, vintage toys and video games, advertising and collectibles, and full estate liquidations. Reach out! All items of value are considered.

Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?

Yes — Atlas Auctions is a licensed, bonded, and insured auction house.

Where can I sell a collection of antiques or collectibles?

Right here — we accept collectibles of all kinds through consignment auctions reaching bidders nationwide, including sports cards, jewelry, militaria, vintage toys, and coins and currency.

Do you accept coin collections along with other collectibles?

Yes. Coins and currency are one of our specialties — see our dedicated coin consignment page for details — but we also handle sports memorabilia, jewelry, militaria, toys, and full estates in the same sale.

How does a consignment auction work?

You bring or ship us your item, we catalog and photograph it, then list it in an online auction on HiBid where bidders compete for it. Once it sells, you're paid according to our commission rate — no upfront fees.

What's the difference between an estate sale and an auction?

An estate sale is typically an in-person sale at the property with set prices, while an auction lets bidders compete for each item, often bringing stronger results. At Atlas Auctions, we handle full estate liquidations through our online auction platform — cataloging and photographing everything for competitive bidding rather than a traditional walk-through sale.

Do you handle full estate liquidations, not just individual items?

Yes — from a single collection to an entire estate, we handle cataloging, photography, and sale of everything, start to finish.

What areas do you serve for estate visits and pickups?

We serve Wind Gap and the surrounding Lehigh Valley and Pocono region, including Easton, Bethlehem, and Stroudsburg, and can discuss shipping arrangements or pickup for consignors further out.

How long does it take to sell something through auction?

Timing depends on when your items are ready and our current auction calendar, but most consignments are cataloged and listed for our next scheduled sale, with auctions typically running about two weeks from open to close. Payment follows shortly after the auction ends.

What happens to items that don't sell?

We'll work with you on next steps — whether that's relisting the item in a future auction or returning it to you.

How do I get paid after my items sell?

Once your items sell, you're paid according to our commission rates — simple and transparent, with no hidden fees.

What payment methods do you accept from bidders?

Winning bidders can pay by Cash, Credit Card, Zelle, Wire Transfer, or Certified Funds. A 3% discount is applied for any payment method other than credit card.

Do you offer shipping or pickup for consignments?

Yes. We can arrange pickup for larger collections and estates, or you can ship smaller items directly to us.

Ready to Consign?

Contact us by email or Facebook to schedule an appointment at our Wind Gap, PA facility, to meet at the site of your estate or collection, or to arrange shipment of your collection. We'll discuss your items, explain our straightforward consignment process, and show you how our competitive commission rates and bidder outreach can help you maximize your return.

We're here to make the selling experience simple, transparent, and hassle-free.
